Film

Saddened by the poor condition of the feral cats in my (Moroccan) home town of Azemmour, I decided to find out if there were any organisations caring for animals in Morocco. I was delighted to find and meet Claire a UK based veterinary nurse who has been running an animal aid programme 'HSAM' in a town close by for 6 years. I followed the team in Essaouira last year and donated this film to help them fundraise and support their cause. Keep up the good work HSAM!

In Trinidad with my Mum on holiday, I stayed at Asa Wright Nature Center and loved the place! The AWNC is a “Not-for-Profit” Trust established in 1967 by a group of naturalists and bird-watchers to “protect part of the Arima Valley in a natural state and to create a conservation and study area for the protection of wildlife and for the enjoyment of all.” It was one of the first nature centres to be established in the Caribbean. As they didn't have a good promo film, I made this from my holiday footage!

India's malaria epidemic is vastly underestimated. Malaria deaths go un-reported, and while India doesn't acknowledge it's malaria crisis, malaria will never be controlled.

This is a short film made in Orissa, one of India's poorest states, which bears the heaviest burden in the intimate relationship between poverty and malaria.

I returned a year after making this film having raised $35,000 with a wonderful charity 'Against Malaria' and distributed 7200 WHO approved mosquito nets to the tribal villages in the worst malaria endemic villages.
